Stan Boatwright

Richard Stanley Boatwright , age 49, most recently served as a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor for Key Energy Services, Permian Basin Marketplace. In that role, Mr. Boatwright was primarily focused on educating and coaching field employees around the prevention of serious injuries and fatalities through the use of Human Performance tools. Prior to this assignment, he gained Operational experience within Key’s Coiled Tubing and Drilling groups – where he started his career in the Petroleum industry.

Prior to joining Key Energy in 2012, Mr. Boatwright enjoyed operating “Looking Good!” Mobile Detailing, a full-service vehicle appearance restoration business, which he owned for nearly 10 years in the State College, PA area. During part of that tenure, Mr. Boatwright gained experience in the Hospitality industry as an Operations Manager for Best Western hotels. Before tapping into his entrepreneurial spirit as a business owner, Mr Boatwright gained valuable experience in the Corporate world, spending 12 years with Corning, Inc, at their manufacturing facility in State College. Eight of those years was spent as a design technician, developing mold designs for CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) television glass. Desiring to move from the technical side to the human development side of the business, he served two years as a Training Coordinator, and another two in Human Resources. For some 11 of his 12 years at the Corning-Asahi plant, Mr. Boatwright was part of a team of volunteers that taught workforce Diversity, specifically around gender and ethnic/racial inclusion. He also was instrumental in assisting the organization in achieving ISO Certification – driving process documentation and serving as an internal ISO auditor. Mr Boatwright began his working career as a draftsman at Royal Vendors, an upstart soft drink vending machine company in Charlestown, WV.

Mr Boatwright graduated from Inwood High School in 1987, as a member of the National Honor Society, and at the top of his class at the James Rumsey Technical Institute, with a background in Mechanical & Architectural Drafting and Design.

Stan Boatwright serves as the Director of QHSE for Catalyst Energy Services. Mr. Boatwright has been the lead support for multiple successful operations within the Permian Basin. He was primarily focused on educating and coaching field employees around the prevention of serious injuries and fatalities using Human Performance tools. He has built an impactful reputation as a corporate safety liaison where he has shared extensive technical training and coaching, internally and externally, with multiple operators within the Permian Basin. He uses his innate desire to teach for the improvement of overall team performance.

Mr. Boatwright holds the certification of an ISO 9001 Auditor, Radiation Safety Officer, and Human Performance Science.
